Pakistan reached Semi Finals in T20 World Cup

Pakistan had very little chance to reach Semi Finals in this T20 World Cup 2010. They lost their two matches in Super Eight. In their last match they have to win against South Africa so that they have some chance for reaching Semi Finals.

Pakistan outplayed South Africa:
Pakistan won the match against South Africa and eliminated them out of T20 World Cup.
As they had good run rate of +.04 they will qualify to Semi Finals if England beat New Zealand in the next game.

Luck favors Pakistan to reach Semi finals:
England beats New Zealand and that’s the end of New Zealand tour of T20 WC 2010, with low strike rate they didn't qualify for the semi finals.

India won the match against South Africa

India won the match against South Africa by 14 runs. South Africa won the toss and elected to bowl first. India didn't start well as they lost two quick wickets for 30+ runs. But after that Raina and Yuvi batted well. Raina scored a brillient century. India scored 186 for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.
South Africa didn't look good right from the start of the chase. Even though they got momentom at last, they managed to score 172 for the loss of 5 wickets.

IPL 2010: Mumbai Indians Vs Rajasthan Royals

Today Mumbai Indians will take on Rajasthan Royals at Jaipur. This match will be a do or die match for Rajasthan Royals. Even though they are in winning streak they can't afford to loose a single match as the other teams are competing for the fourth place.

Mumbai Indians will battle hard as they lost two matches on a row.
Rajasthan Royals are doing well under the captaincy of shane Warne. Shane Watson come back is a big plus for their team as he can hit the ball hard and pick up wickets.
Yusaf Pathan will also add the extra power in the batting line up for Rajasthan Royals.
Sachin the master is considered to be the half batting side as per the new poll conducted in the last match. He didn't perform in the last two matches and the result was the team didn't win. This is clear that he is the kee player for Mumbai Indians. Even though Tiwari and Rayudu are in good form, they didn’t win the matches for their team in the last two games.
The clash between the two teams will be like the two troops battling for the win.
This match will be like Sachin Tendulkar Vs Shane Warne. The battle between the two legends will decide the fate of the game.

IPL: Kings XI chased 200 runs successfully

Kings XI Punjab scored 200 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders to win the match. Today in IPL 2010 Kings XI Punjab played against Kolkata Knight Riders. In this match Knight Riders won the toss and elected to bat first. Kolkata scored 200 runs in their 20 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Chris Gayle scored 88 runs in 42 balls for his side.

Superb century from Jayawardena:

In chase Kings XI had only one choice, bat well and win the game, thats what Jayawardena did. He made a fantastic century helping his team to clinch the victory before 19 overs. Jayawardena looked superb and scored all round the park, he scored 110 in 59 balls in this superb innings he hits 3 sixes and 14 fours. Sangakkara and Yuvraj gave good support for Jayawardena by scoring side by side sixes and fours taking pressure from the main man of the day. Sangakkara scored 38 runs and Yuvraj scored 33 runs. In 18.2 overs Kings XI scored 204/2 to clinch the victory. Jayawardena was named Man Of The Match.

India in South Asian games

India is leading the medal tally in the South Asian games. 11th South Asian games held in Dhaka. Countries like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, etc participated in these games. India finished first in these games with 175 medals. India got 90 gold medals in the South Asian games. They also got 22 silver and 30 bronze medals to their tally. Players who won the medals will get cash prize from Indian government. Indian Olympic comity head Suresh Kalmadi said all the players who won the medals will get the rewards soon.

Sehwag scored century against South Africa

Today Sehwag continued his good form and scored century against South Africa. Once India where 56/3, loosing Gambhir, Murali Vijay and Sachin. Badhrinath and Sehwag stood there and shared a good partnership of over hundred. Soon after crossing hundred Sehwag didn't stay long, he was out on 109 by Parnell. India faces South Africa for the first test match tomorrow in Nagpur. This test match will be a real thriller as the No 1 team India will face No 2 team South Africa. Before the match itself mind games started to blow up against the two teams. Harbhajan says "If we plays to our full potential, we can beat any team in world". South African pace bowler Stain says "Sehwag don't like short pitch. he will get only those". He also feels India will definitely miss Yuvi, Dravid and VVS due to their injuries.

India calls Rohit Sharma as Laxman fails to gain fitness. Tamil Nadu batsman Badrinath will also have chance to make his first test match tomorrow.

Indian Premier League is one of the world famous cricket T20 Cup. IPL 2010 will be conducted from March 12 to April 25. Totally there will be 60 matches for this year. In this year IPL we have chance to see the match in theaters. Totally 1000 theaters will broadcast this live matches all over India. UFO movies are working to broadcast the matches in theaters.

In some important matches like Finals and big team clashing matches they are planning to show in 3-D technology. This IPL matches will be joyful if we see in a big screen with other fans. Usually when IPL is held movie releases will not be scheduled so theaters will face loss. If IPL is broadcast theaters will get good profit as the fans are more who are willing to see matches in AC halls and Dts surrounded sound rooms.

Board president XI draw with South Africa

Two day match between South Africa and Board President India is drawn. In this match Board President XI batted first, Abhishek Nayar scored a superb century to make the team score 318 runs. South Africa in reply scored 354. Amla and Kallis scored half centuries for their team. Piyush Chawla took 4 wickets for Board President XI.

South Africa is to play two test match series this month. First test match will start from 6th February 2010. No 1 India vs No 2 South Africa will be a real thriller to watch, i am expecting to watch an exciting series.

Dhoni is number-2 in ODI ranking

Indian captain Dhoni slipped from number-1 spot to number-2 spot in ODI rankings. Hussey clinches the number-1 spot with his good performance against Pakistan. In the top ten ODI batting rankings Sachin is in 7th spot and dashing opener Sehwag is in 9th spot.

In bowling only one Indian bowler is in top ten rankings, Harbhajan is in 6th spot. There is no change in teams ranking, India is in 2nd spot with 121 points behind Australia which has 133 points.

Right now India have to concentrate in two test matches, as this series is the last test series for India. It is important that India should win the series to keep the number 1 spot in test.

South Africa vs Board President XI

South African tour of India is known to world as the first ranked team India will take on second ranked team South Africa in two test match series. India is despite for a win against South Africans to be in No.1 spot.

Before the two test match series South Africa will take on Board President XI on Tuesday. This will be two day match. For this match Rohit Sharma will be the captain for Board President XI. Most of the youngsters will be looking for a good performance which will fetch them a chance in Indian team.

India to think about new pace bowlers

It is said that Indian bowling is lacking good pace as most of the pace bowlers are medium pace bowlers. Even when bowlers start their international career by bowling in good speed they get injuries and reduce their pace to close 130kmph. In this South African tournament Indian selectors are keen in selecting the new pace bowlers who bowl more than 140kmph consistently. Some of the experts say in test cricket they should have good line and experience, but with good pace and good line any batsman can be troubled. In a medium pace the margin of error is very less but if a bowler is bowling in good speed will unsettle the new batsman. Considering the speed as a factor the chairman of selectors Srikanth have selected Abhimanyu Mithun in the Indian squad. Hope we will see his speed bowling against the South Africans in the first test match.
